We teach a variety of workshops upon request, including:

 

• Natural Gas Exploration - Infrastructure & Development:   Workshops review natural gas infrastructure, such as pipelines, compressors, injection wells and restoration, natural gas drilling and water issues, background in natural gas exploration and well siting.   A panel of speakers features local energy companies, consultants, geologists,  educators, and/or governmental agencies. A question and answer period follows all sessions.


Natural Gas Exploration and Leasing (NGEL) for Landowners: Workshops review what the gas resource is, PA DEP permitting and inspection issues, negotiating and understanding gas leases, and issues related to Clean & Green, CREP, and other governmental programs. A panel of speakers features local energy companies, consultants, geologists, and governmental agencies. A question and answer period follows all sessions.


• Economic and Community Impacts of Natural Gas Production: Workshop discusses the experience in other states with significant natural gas development, including workforce, local business, housing, and other impacts. 


Managing Gas Lease and Royalty Income: Workshop on financial management principles for landowners who have leased their land, including how to choose financial advisors, estate planning, and basic money management.


Natural Gas Wells and Drinking Water: Workshop on water quality impacts of gas drilling and what homeowners need to know to monitor and protect their wells.
